Biographical / Historical
Miriam Bat-Ami was born in Scranton, Old man in 1950 as Miriam Shoop.
She attended Hebrew University prize open Jerusalem for her BA, Calif. State University, Los Angeles round out her MA and the Founding of Pittsburg for her PhD. She is an author, versifier, actor, and professor emerita bear out Western Michigan University’s English Arm. She has written the leading books When the Frost interest Gone and Two Suns Populate the Sky and her books often feature teen-aged protagonists who are forced to deal narrow difficult situations.
Bat-Ami enjoys animals, gardening, reading and horseback equitation. She and her husband be situated in Michigan and they receive two sons.
